PC Phosphate Free Dishwasher Detergent

President's Choice introduces phosphate-free dishwasher detergent

By using phosphate-free dishwasher detergent, we can save 5,000 tonnes of phosphates being introduced into the waterways while still removing the stains on dishes.

Too much phosphate in the water can cause a rapid build-up of algae which depletes oxygen in the water which has an adverse affect on sealife.

The Government of Canada has proposed that all detergents should only have .5% phosphates by 2010.

PC Green has other environmentally friendly products on its website.
